Singer-songwriters Matt Hill (Quiet Loner) and Tracey Browne present an evening of live music about the fight for people’s votes.
Beginning with Peterloo in 1819 these original songs take the listener through 200 years of history, exploring the fight for the right to vote, the inequalities that drove the campaign and what voting means in our 21st century democracy. Featuring songs from Quiet Loner’s acclaimed album ‘The Battle for the Ballot’ plus other material from the two songwriters.
