Welcome to the website of Alan Cook.

Alan Cook is a British musician based in Manchester. His main instrument is the pedal steel guitar but he also plays dobro and mandolin.

Alan has specialised in adding pedal steel guitar to music outside of the country music mainstream. He has worked with many bands including Michael Weston King (Floating World records), Adam Masterton (BMG), Jackie Leven (Cooking Vinyl), Quiet loner (Circus65 records) and Lisa Redford (Parrot records).
